Tasting Notes:  Beautiful bouquet of roses, mixed bowl of berries, subtle smoked oak, new leather and cherry pie. This wine has a light weight feel on the palate, yet full of fruit that coats the palate, balanced acidity and a dry finish.

Food Pairing:  Beef Milanese, hearty fish dishes, stuffed pastas, Neapolitan style pizza, roasted vegetables, herb crusted prime rib.

Fun Facts:  This wine was featured on the 2021 T.V. show “Searching for Italy” by Stanley Tucci.  The wine producer is Arianna Occhipinti; she is the niece of Giusto Occhipinti, the part owner and winemaker of COS wines.  COS wines are undisputedly the best in Sicily. Arianna attended the University of Milan’s school of viticulture and enology at a young age, and released her first vintage at age 22.
