Mari Vineyards founder Marty Lagina made the bold choice to produce world class 100% estate wines planting unorthodox European varieties such as Nebbiolo and Sangiovese alongside classically grown Northern MI appellation varieties like Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Riesling. The first vineyard was planted in 1999 and it's first production was in 2006, named Row 7. This blend became their flagship and most popular wine ever since.

Mar Vineyards farms organically with biodynamics in mind.
