Fun Facts: Farella is a family owned vineyard and winery based out of the Coombsville appellation in Napa Valley. Founded in 1977, their first wines were produced in 1985. They planted the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the Coombsville-Napa Valley AVA and were also the home of the first Cabernet Sauvignon wine produced in the AVA. Currently, Farella leases 2/3 of their vineyards to Realm Cellars - who produce 100 pt wines and some sell for over $1,000/bottle. This Merlot is a rare find from a special estate!
