Fun Facts: Founded in 1850 by the Duveau family, Domaine des Roches Neuves was purchased by winemaker Thierry Germain and his wife Marie in 1991. Similar to many wineries in France, Thierry Germain of Domaine des Roches Neuves comes from a long lineage of winemakers and today is known around the world for being a leader in biodynamic wine production. Their vineyards spread over 28 hectares with plantings of Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc in the region of Loire Valley synonymous for Cab Franc much like Saumur-Champigny, Chinon and Bourgueil where Cab Franc is the hero and vinified alone.
