Fun Facts: Epoch Estate is situated on one of the oldest wineries in the U.S. Founded by Ian Jan Paderewski, a world-renowned Poland born Pianist, Polish diplomat and vintner who purchased a sprawling 2,000 acres in Paso Robles, CA in 1913 for his own personal ranch. Eventually wining awards and gaining popularity from the L.A. Times for his wines produced at the original 1895 York Mountain Winery - now restored brick-by-brick, along with the estates original late 1800’s wine basket press which is now on display at Epoch Estates 577 acres of land founded in 2004. Paderewski Vineyard is located on steep hills, rich of limestone soil benefiting from the Templeton Gap temperature wind shifts, creating wines that are complex, balanced and age worthy.
