Fun Facts:  This a Super Tuscan or IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) wine that is recognized in Tuscany, but not considered a Chianti and does not follow strict wine laws.  It may include non-indigenous grape varietals and typically mimics a Bordeaux or new world style.  The Montepeloso is located in the hills of Suvereto, one of the hottest areas of Tuscany, producing rich-opulent mineral driven wines from the fossilized clay soil.
