Fun Facts: Patrimonio has recently been recognized as the first AOC in all of France to forbid the use of chemical sprays with a new law in effect starting with the 2021 vintage. Winemaker Yves Leccia is a son, grandson and great grandson of winemakers. Although he fell into viticulture naturally and owns his own estate with his wife, he also had an interesting career as a singer. He was a member of Corsica’s cultural heritage singing group, A Filetta. Yves participated in the production of their first few albums and reluctantly had to stop in 1989 to focus on his vineyards and the longevity of his winery.
