Tasting Notes:  This wine is actually NOT sweet like it’s name. A further explanation is below on how the wine got it’s funny name and label.  If you like juicy & jammy wines, this one’s for you!  With a beautiful violet color, cherry-raspberry crush with appropriate acidity to fruit ratio, cedar plank, hints of pepper and spice, violet liqueur and vanilla laced tobacco.  It’s rich and somehow still light!

Food Pairing:  BBQ, shrimp & grits, pork belly tacos, smoked chicken, southern food, Indian butter chicken, Korean BBQ food, roasted beets & berry vinaigrette, sweet potato casserole, Moroccan lamb dishes.

Fun Facts:  Sweet Berry Wine is cartooned from a skit on Adult Swim (Cartoon Network television) where actor John C. Reilly is tasting and appreciating wine in it’s most simplest form of fruit juice and guzzling it down to make a mess of himself.  This wine is as delicious as it seems.  Sweet Berry Wine!
