Fun Facts:  It’s required that the Salamino grape varietal is planted alongside the Sorbara varietal in the Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC which is typically blended during winemaking.  The Sorbara varietal has a flowering disorder that often keeps it from self-pollenating and Salamino is planted alongside it to act as the pollinator!  This 100% Salamino wine "Solco" translates to "furrow" and signifies the idea of leaving a mark after having done something positive.
