Fun Facts: In France’s Northern Rhone Valley, there are few names as revered as Graillot. Although this land (Domaine Equis) is owned by the late, legendary Alain Graillot’s son, Maxime Graillot, it is still well known not only for the name, but the devotion to the art of making hauntingly delicious Syrah. This winery is being rewarded with an ever growing and highly dedicated following around the world also because of his organically farmed, stone-laden vineyards. Maxime Graillot’s vines are planted adjacent to his father’s vines alongside parcels in the heart of the original Saint-Joseph and Cornas.
