Tasting Notes:  Notes of watermelon rind, fresh picked strawberry, raspberry tea, wet stone minerality, honeydew, hibiscus, candied strawberry, complex, well balanced, full mouthfeel, long smooth finish with little acidity to round it out.

Food Pairing:  Prosciutto wrapped peaches, cheese boards, arugula & fig salad, grilled salmon, chicken tagine with currants, tomato bruschetta, cauliflower gratin.

Fun Facts:  This wine along with the other Turtle Rock wines are organically farmed without chemical sprays.  This wine comes from G2 Vineyard in Paso Robles, CA that farms organically.  They also rent a flock of 520 sheep to help with weed management!  Pictured on the front of the bottle is the winemaker’s daughter.  All of the labels are hand drawn from a local artist in Paso Robles, CA.
