Fun Facts: Nicole Chanrion is a sixth generation winemaker and took over her family’s domaine in 1988. Initially she worked all 6.5 hectares by herself. She did everything from pruning, winemaking and bottling. In the year 2000 she became president of the Côte-de-Brouilly appellation. Locally, she’s referred to as the “La Patronne de la Côte,” or the Boss of la Côte.
