$150 per person wine dinner event. This does not include tax or gratuity.
Indulge in this opportunity to meet one of Detroit’s wine industry veterans.
The event cost is $150 per person, includes dinner and wine pairing. Price per person does not include tax or gratuity. Participants must be age 21 or over.
A select amount of retail wine bottles will be available for purchase to-go at the end of the event.
Larger retail bulk purchases can be picked up the following week.
Dinner:
Welcome Bubbles & Focaccia - garlic butter, carrot romesco
Heirloom Tomato - confit tomato, lemon, hash brown, caviar
Smoked Whitefish Quenelle - poached, fine herbs, charred tomato
Sweet Corn Ravioli - sausage sugo, summer succotash
Chimichurri Flank Steak - summer string beans, creamed leeks
Peach Upside-down Cake - sour cream, basil, vanilla bean anglaise
Dinner will last approximately 2.5 hours, from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Michelle DeHayes, Advanced Sommelier CMS, is Little Guy’s sales manager. She has 20+ years in the Detroit area restaurant and wine sales industry. She’s met the winemakers, visited their vineyards across the globe and tasted rare vintages from their underground cellars.
Little Guy Wine Company, a local Michigan distributor, was founded in the early 2000’s. As the name implies, the company was created to celebrate the “Little Guys,” meaning small production winemakers with a passion for the craft and focus on terroir. They search for organically made, spontaneously fermented, hand-crafted and hard to find wines from around the world.
